ISOJ is sold out; live video stream will be available

ISOJ_logo_unmarkedRegistration for the 14th International Symposium on Online Journal (ISOJ) is now closed. Admission to the conference has reached maximum capacity with more than 300 people registered to attend the event.

Attendees include journalists, media executives and scholars from all around the world. The ISOJ conference begins at 8:30am on April 19th and continues through April 20th at the auditorium of the Blanton Museum of Art on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin.

“We are very happy with the response this year for the symposium,” said ISOJ’s founder and chair, professor Rosental Alves. “We have people from many countries coming to Austin specifically for the event, from places as far as South Korea, Europe and from several Latin American countries.”

For those interested who have not been able to register and want to attend the symposium, a video live stream will be offered. A link to the stream will be prominently displayed on the ISOJ webpage during the event, as it was in previous years.

Extensive coverage of the conference will be available on the ISOJ conference website and also on social media. Last year, the hashtag #ISOJ was a national trend on Twitter in the United States, with thousands of tweets.
