Ling Jiang

Senior Data Scientist, The Washington Post

Ling Jiang is a senior data scientist at The Washington Post. She graduated from Drexel University with a PhD degree in Information Science before joining The Washington Post. She enjoys working on data mining and knowledge discovery from large volumes of data. She is skilled in various machine learning and data mining techniques and using them to tackle business problems. After she joined the Post, she has successfully built several data-powered products using machine learning and NLP techniques.

Ling was part of the panel “The impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning on journalism” at ISOJ 2019.
