Abby Livingston is the senior Congressional reporter for Puck, a new media company covering money and power in American culture, and she also writes for The Almanac of American Politics, the bible of the political class. Prior to joining Puck, Abby was the first Washington bureau chief for the Texas Tribune and previously worked for Roll Call, National Journal, CNN and NBC. A seventh-generation Texan, Abby grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She won the 2017 National Press Club Award for Washington regional reporting and the Society of Professional Journalists’ 2018 Sigma Delta Chi Award for Washington correspondence. Abby frequently appears on MSNBC, CNN and Sirius XM radio. She also appeared on an episode of “The Bold and The Beautiful.” In her spare time, Abby volunteers for the Congressional Women’s Softball Game, the annual softball game that pits female members of Congress against the press to raise money for young women fighting breast cancer. As a player, she was inducted into the game’s first hall of fame class and is now the first woman to coach the press team. Abby lives in New York City.
