Marc PerkinsMarc Perkins is an award-winning, long-form investigations specialist, who is currently the investigations editor for Europe and Asia for the BBC World Service. His career spans more than 25 years of working in challenging and conflict areas, starting out as a shoot-producer charting the rise of the insurgency in Fallujah, Iraq, interviewing the Taliban in the tribal areas of Pakistan and traveling with Karen rebels in Burma. Over the last decade, he has launched all of the World Service’s Investigative Documentary Units – Arabic Documentaries, Africa Eye and BBC Eye – as well as managing the BBC’s first OSINT Investigations Team.
