Trei Brundrett

Founder-in-Residence, New_Public

Trei Brundrett is the Founder-in-Residence for Roundabout, a new way to help you connect with your local community, incubated inside New_ Public, a nonprofit R+D organization focused on creating new digital public spaces where people can thrive and connect.

Previously, he was a cofounder and the former Chief Operating Officer of Vox Media, overseeing the highest priority cross-company initiatives and leading the Design, Technology, Data, and Product groups. He’s also a member of the board for The Texas Tribune, Guardian Media Group, and McDonald Observatory at The University of Texas. He studied History and Astronomy at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Trei is a seventh generation Texan who grew up helping to raise Beefmaster cattle in Kenedy, Texas and has lived in every major city in the state except for El Paso.
