Giulia Ferri is a PhD student at the Institute of Media and Journalism and editor of the European Journalism Observatory at the Università della Svizzera italiana. Her primary research interest is the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism, in particular the changing power dynamics between human journalists and machines in newsrooms. Currently, she also collaborates on a publicly funded research project that identifies and evaluates the most important innovations in journalism in five different European countries.
