PRESS CREDENTIAL INFORMATION & APPLICATION

About ISOJ 2022

The International Symposium on Online Journalism is an annual gathering of editors, producers, executives and academics from around the world who convene at the University of Texas at Austin to discuss the evolution of online journalism. ISOJ 2022 will take place on April 1 and 2, 2022 in the Zlotnik Family Ballroom, a 15,000-square-foot space in the University of Texas at Austin’s AT&T Hotel and Conference Center. This year’s conference will be in a new and innovative hybrid format allowing ISOJ to build upon the international success of the past two years.

Press Credential Information 

Press credentials to cover ISOJ 2022 will be restricted to journalists who are assigned to cover the event. Credential applications must be submitted via the form linked below by Friday, March 25th. Only a limited number of credentials will be granted. 

Please bring a letter of request signed by your supervisor on company letterhead to the summit on the day you choose to cover. This letter must be presented to receive press credentials.

Press Check-In 

Credentials must be picked up daily at the press booth located in the registration area near the entrance to the conference. Please bring your letter of request signed by a supervisor to the press booth when you pick up your credentials. Press passes are valid for both days. 

Broadcasting Live at the Conference

Companies seeking to broadcast their radio/TV program live from the conference must apply for credentials as indicated above. Credential applications must be submitted for each person working on the broadcast. Credentialed broadcast media must then contact BA Snyder at ba@theveritasway.com to make all logistical arrangements, including audio-visual needs, and will be responsible for their own audio-visual costs. 

Acceptance and Notification 

ISOJ reserves the right to decline any requests for credentials. Applicants requesting press credentials will be notified of their credential status via e-mail upon receipt of the application form. 

Instructions 

Press credentials to cover the 23rd International Symposium on Online Journalism will be restricted to journalists assigned to cover the event. 

Credentials must be submitted via THIS FORM by Friday, March 25th. Requests for credentials may not be accepted after the deadline and only a limited number of credentials will be granted.
