Clay Eltzroth is a leader in AI and machine learning with over 15 years of experience in strategy, leadership, product management and end-to-end solutions for companies and the newsroom. He has run the day-to-day operations of a 30-person news company, as well as managed global teams focused on leveraging technology solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy of the content produced. He previously spoke at KDD 2017 on data mining with social media to help uncover breaking news as well as regularly participating in conferences involving the intersection of media and technology.

As a product manager, Clay is currently developing machine learning and speech-to-text solutions for the Bloomberg Newsroom. Prior to taking on this role, he was a managing editor for breaking news and helped to launch Bloomberg’s 24-hour global news network streaming on Twitter.

Eltzroth was a presenter for the panel “The impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning on journalism” at ISOJ 2019.
