Patti Birch Fellow, Committee to Protect Journalists
As CPJ‘s 2018 – 2019 Patti Birch fellow for gender and media Freedom, Sarah Guinee is examining online harassment against women journalists, with a focus on threats occurring around national elections. She previously served as a strategy research fellow at Atlantic Media, where she researched evolving journalistic models and markets, and co-authored The Idea, a weekly newsletter on innovation in news media. Sarah earned a B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College. She is based in Washington, D.C.
