Peter Erdelyi is an investigative reporter, editor and media manager from Budapest, Hungary, working at one of Hungary’s last remaining independent media outlets, the online news portal 444.hu. He has 19 years of experience in journalism and as an investigative reporter covers national security, issues related to the judiciary, political corruption, hate crimes and extremist groups. As the environment for independent media became increasingly challenging in Hungary over the past few years, he became involved in devising ways to operate and sustain an independent outlet.
