Sebastián Auyanet is an Audience Strategist, Impact and Newsroom Experimentation at NowThis. He also works as a consultant focused on business models and audience development, having collaborated with organizations such as ICFJ, IWPR and SembraMedia, and in programs such as MDIF’s Membership Puzzle Project, GNI Startup Labs or Luminate’s Velocidad, for more than 40 outlets across the Americas and Europe. As a class of 17′ graduate from the Engagement Journalism program at the Newmark School of Journalism, he specializes in user-focused editorial and business strategies with a deep listening and an impact-measurement product perspective. He has been active at the news media sector for 19 years, transitioning from more traditional newsroom positions to different trailblazing roles focused on audience development. He is currently based in Montevideo, Uruguay.
