Florent Daudens is CEO and co-founder of Mizal AI. He is a recognized voice on how AI is reshaping media, with expertise spanning technology, content, and leadership.

Previously, he led AI and media innovation at Hugging Face, where he also fostered a global journalist community around open source. Before moving into tech, Florent spent many years as a journalist and newsroom leader, serving as managing editor at Le Devoir and later leading international, political and newsgathering teams at CBC/Radio-Canada. Those years on the frontlines of journalism continue to ground his work in the realities of reporting and running newsrooms under pressure.

He has been featured as an expert in international publications and is regularly invited to speak at industry events and lead workshops at leading universities and journalism schools.
