Micah Gelman

Micah Gelman is a media executive with 25+ years in online video, cable, and broadcast television. He currently serves as CEO and co-founder of Local News International, which is both the production and marketing company for independent journalist Dave Jorgenson, and a media strategies group.

Before co-founding LNI, Micah served as head of video at The Washington Post for 10 years, leading a 75-person team in long and short-form video. He created Washington Post Universe, the Visual Investigations team and the live video operation. Previously, Micah led Digital Video Strategy for Discovery Networks and The AP’s Online Video Network. He’s a multiple (team) Pulitzer Prize, Emmy, Murrow and Webby winner.
