Dr. Valérie Bélair-Gagnon is Assistant Professor at the Hubbard School of Journalism & Mass Communication and Director of the Minnesota Journalism Center. Her research interests are media innovation, engagement, sociology of work, well-being, and the business of journalism. She is co-author of The Paradox of Connection (forthcoming) and Journalism Research that Matters (2021), and author of Social Media at BBC News (2015).
